The Antwerp-based fashion designer Walter Van Beirendonck is well-known all around the world for his colourful and game-changing fashion collections. The world surrounding him but also his endless fantasy have always inspired his work. That is no different for this project: a day-to-day diary taking you along Walter’s wonderous world.
The design of this project was completely in the artist’s hands. The result? A unique luxury product that will be available in a limited edition. Furthermore, this diary is a first in a series of many more, bringing together different designers from Belgium and beyond to share their creative spirit and invite us all to see their designs.
Walter Van Beirendonck studied at the fashion department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. His rise to fame started in 1987 as part of the Six of Antwerp. This particular group of Belgian fashion designers is regarded as the founding fathers of Belgian fashion and as absolute gamechangers in the fashion world.
